Duties of the SRC Academic & Transformation Officer as stated in the SRC Constitution Section 9.7:
1. Represent the SRC in all relevant academic structures of the institute.
2. Coordinate activities between the SRC and Academic clubs.
3. Liaise and address problems encountered by students within programs and promote good relations.
4. Organize activities to promote gender equity.
5. Organize campaigns and workshops on gender equity.
6. Be responsible for all SRC HIV/AIDS activities in conjunction with other relevant stakeholders
7. Lead the students body delegation on the proceedings of the Institute Academic Forum.
